Goldenhawks Bantam Football is one of Calgary longest standing football teams within the Calgary Bantam Football Association with over 40 years of existence and experience. The Calgary Broncos have been in existence since1980. In 2011, it was advantageous, for the Calgary Broncos and the Goldenhawks to merge to become the new N.E. team the CYCLONES. This is an exciting time in football for the N.E. quadrant.
 
The Calgary Cyclones are a part of the Calgary Bantam Football Association. This is a full contact tackle football league for youths aged 13 to 15 years. The league is comprised of twelve teams, nine of which are in Calgary and three which encompass the surrounding communities. The rural teams are based in Airdrie, Okotoks and Cochrane.

 All teams play their games at Shouldice Park in Northwest Calgary. The regular season starts the last week of August at Shouldice Park and runs until the City Championship during the first week of November. This is followed by provincial playoffs, select team tryouts and our annual all-star trip to the United States. Games are played on Saturday from 9:30am to 3:30pm as well as occasional mid-week evening games. Must be 15 before December 31st, 2012 or going into grade 9 this September.
